Indiana is headed to Jacksonville, Florida for its bowl game with head coach Tom Allen being recognized on Wednesday.

The Hoosiers are going bowling for the first time since 2016, and they are looking for their first bowl win since 1991. Their matchup is an SEC opponent in Tennessee.

On Wednesday, Indiana head coach Tom Allen and Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer were honored by the City of Jacksonville for the game. Both representatives were awarded Keys to the City as a way to welcome and thank both schools for participating in the game.

Allen responded by indicating the Hoosiers are very excited to be heading south for bowl season:

“I know our players are thrilled to be able to come to the state of Florida, they can’t wait. I sent some pictures back to them today from the resort we are going to be staying at, so they are even more excited about the opportunity,” said Allen. “It truly is an honor and a privilege for us to be here.”

Here’s the video of Allen’s comments, as well as comments from Jacksonville’s Mayor Lenny Curry:
