Freshman quarterback Donaven McCulley will make his second start for Indiana and it’s going to be quite the challenge. Indiana travels to No. 7 Michigan on Nov. 6.
McCulley completed 14 of his 25 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in Indiana’s 38-35 loss to Maryland last week.
Indiana coach Tom Allen believes the 6-foot-5, 200-pound freshman has potential and his teammates are establishing trust in him.
Allen on McCulley: “He’s had to grow up really, really fast, but I think his poise and his natural confidence (are) continuing to show.” #iufb

Allen says he sees a “higher level of belief” in Donaven McCulley with each practice. Even sees more velocity on his throws because there’s more confidence in his understanding of where it’s going.
