Reece redshirted his first year at Indiana in 2017, meaning he’ll have two years of eligibility to use at Towson, which competes at the FCS level. Over the last three seasons, Reece played in 10 games along IU’s defensive line. He is credited with 7 tackles, including 1 for loss.
Reece is a 6-foot-4, 258-pound native of Clearwater, Florida and arrived in Bloomington ahead of Tom Allen’s first season as head coach. He was a 3-star member of the Hoosiers’ 2017 recruiting cycle and was ranked as one of the Top 100 weak-side defensive ends in the class.
More than a dozen schools offered Reece out of high school. He picked Indiana over Duke, Iowa State, Louisville, UCF, WKU and several others.
