Rob Phinisee will still not be available for Indiana this weekend.

Chris Solari of The Detroit Free Press tweeted out on Saturday afternoon that the Hoosiers will still be without Phinisee. It will be the fourth straight game the senior guard has missed because of a foot injury.

There is some good news, though, as Phinisee was not spotted with a boot or a scooter while inside the Breslin Center on Saturday afternoon. That could be an indication that he’s progressing and might be able to return in the near future.

Phinisee last played in Indiana’s 74-57 victory over Penn State. He left that game with the foot injury after playing only 7 minutes.

This season, Phinisee is averaging 5.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2 assists per game in 17 appearances. When he’s been available, the guard has logged 19.5 minutes per contest.

Indiana is looking to snap a two-game losing streak, falling to Illinois and Northwestern in consecutive games. Michigan State is also on a two-game skid, losing to Rutgers and Wisconsin.

Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
