One veteran defender for Indiana has entered his name into the transfer portal.

According to Zach Osterman with the Indy Star, veteran linebacker James Miller has decided to head to the portal. Miller was a 3-star member of the 2018 recruiting class out of Florida.

Miller has been a solid contributor during his time with the Hoosiers. He appeared in 10 games during the 2019 season with 32 tackles, 5.5 TFL, and 1.5 sacks. Miller also appeared in every game during the shortened 2020 season with 24 tackles.

Unfortunately, his production dipped a bit in 2021. Miller appeared in 7 games with 16 tackles. For his career, Miller has posted 75 total tackles with 5.5 TFL and 1.5 sacks.
