Indiana went 2-10 (0-9 B1G) last season. The Hoosiers’ lone victories were against FCS Idaho and a 2-point victory against Western Kentucky out of Conference USA.

But wait…the Hoosiers might have another victory in the form of offensive coordinator Walt Bell.

The 38-year-old has seemingly earned a win in the facial hair department. Bell takes over as offensive coordinator in Bloomington after serving as head coach at UMass where he compiled a 2-23 record in 3 seasons.

Bell previously played at Middle Tennessee as a wide receiver from 2003-2006. He admitted in his response that he comes from a long line of “well-mustachioed” individuals.

While that mustache might be nice, Hoosier fans are hoping Bell can generate some offense with the headset. Maybe his facial makeup with create some style points?

The Hoosiers scored just over 17 points per game in 2021. That mark was not good, ranking 123rd out of 130 teams in the country.

The Hoosiers begin B1G play right away against Illinois. Let’s see if Bell and his mustache can create some touchdowns.
