Former Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is now officially a part of his new program. Washington formally welcomed Penix Jr. on Dec. 23.

Penix Jr. is joined by former UC Davis cornerback Jordan Perryman.

“We are excited about Jordan and Michael joining our football family!” Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer said. “They are both proven leaders and high character young men who are greats fits for our program. I know they are looking forward to being on campus soon and getting to know the rest of our team!”

Penix for the last four seasons and was a team captain the last two years. During the 2020 season, Penix earned second-team All-B1G and was chosen as team MVP after tallying 124-for-220 for 1,645 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions.
