Jack Tuttle may just force his way into some playing time if he keeps making throws like this.

Indiana is gearing up for its third season under head coach Tom Allen, and he has said multiple times that the quarterback position is having a true competition this fall. It appears to be a three-way battle between 2018 starter Peyton Ramsey, Michael Penix Jr., and Tuttle who is an incoming Utah transfer.

Allen has said that Ramsey likely has the best shot to win the starting job after serving in that role last season. However, Penix or Tuttle can certainly play their way into it, and Tuttle showed off his arm on this throw.

He unleashed a beautiful deep bomb that was perfectly placed beyond the defense. Tuttle’s pass hit his receiver in stride for a big play.
