J-Shun Harris has endured disappointment after disappointment during his football career at Indiana. The receiver has been electrifying when he’s stepped on the field, but three ACL injuries have hindered his ability to see playing time during his time in Bloomington.

But Harris isn’t allowing a few injuries stop him from making plays while wearing the cream-and-crimson uniform. He’s already making plays in fall camp.

During Big Ten Network’s bus tour stop at Indiana on Monday, Harris was caught on video burning several defenders after hauling in a pass. It’s a great sign for the Hoosiers and the offense

Yeah, that dude has got some speed.

Harris played in seven games for the Hoosiers last season before suffering his third season-ending ACL injury. He missed all of the 2015 and 2016 seasons with ACL injuries.

Last fall, Harris had three receptions for 14 yards, but was a game-changer on special teams. He returned 14 punts for 266 yards and two touchdowns. He was injured in Indiana’s game against Maryland.

Harris’ most productive year came in his freshman season in 2014, catching 18 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned 19 kickoffs for 391 yards.

If Harris can stay healthy this season, the Hoosiers have another productive playmaker at wide receiver and on special teams.
