One of the best parts of beating an in-state opponent is having bragging rights. And in Saturday’s Crossroads Classic matchup between Indiana and Butler, the Hoosier fans definitely have something to gloat about.

Rob Phinisee hit a three-point shot at the end of Saturday’s game to push IU to a 71-68 victory over Butler. The Hoosiers improved to 9-2 with the win and now have state bragging rights over the Bulldogs.

One student took Saturday’s outcome as an opportunity to rub his teacher’s nose in the victory.

The student, sporting an Indiana jersey, had Don Fischer’s call of the Hoosiers’ final possession and Phinisee’s shot blasting through the hallway. He found the teacher — a Butler fan — in the lounge area, parked the speaker and let the final moments blare through the school.

As you’ll see in the video, the teacher was not impressed.

Whatever punishment that student received, it was definitely worth it.
