Head coach Tom Allen and his Indiana Hoosiers were feeling good fresh off a bye week as they were ready to potentially upset the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans.

On the defensive side of the ball, Indiana felt like they suppressed the high-caliber talent at the skilled positions. They held Michigan State to only 241 total yards accounted for and only allowed a third-down conversion rate of 5-for-15.

Offensively, Indiana felt they could make a big splash under its new starting quarterback in Jack Tuttle. Indiana accounted for 322 total yards off of offense and 24 first downs, but it was the three turnovers from Tuttle that plagued their momentum.

Allen acknowledged after the game there is still plenty of work to do and they were not far from making the big upset over Michigan State. Allen acknowledged that the pick-six was a killer for them.
