Whop Philyor may not have had the start to the NFL he was hoping for, but he’s doing his best to land on Minnesota’s roster for the fall.

Despite playing four seasons at Indiana, Philyor had the opportunity to return for another year due to the blanket waiver provided by the NCAA. Instead, Philyor called it a career and set his sights on the NFL.

Unfortunately, Philyor went undrafted, but he did land a deal after the draft. He signed on with the Minnesota Vikings and is now working to make the roster.

If this catch is any indication, Philyor is making a strong impression early on. In a video shared by the Vikings, Philyor skied up and over his defender for an impressive grab, snatching a would-be interception away for the catch.

Check it out:

Philyor finished his Hoosier career with 180 catches for 2,067 yards and 12 touchdowns. He ranks fourth on Indiana’s all-time list for catches and ninth in receiving yardage.

Best of luck to Philyor as he begins his NFL journey!
