2 Kentucky WRs to miss Citrus Bowl vs. Iowa because of car accident
Wide receivers Josh Ali and Isaiah Epps will not be able to play in the Citrus Bowl after a car accident that the 2 players were involved in. The players are both doing fine and will make a full recovery, but won’t be playing in the game against Iowa.
Kentucky’s offensive coordinator Liam Coen confirmed the news on Monday.

Ali has been one of the team’s reliable targets with 601 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns for the Wildcats this season. Epps has 161 yards receiving with 1 touchdown in the 2021 season.
No. 15 Iowa (10-3) and No. 22 Kentucky (9-3) meet on New Year’s Day in Orlando at Camping World Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
