After 0-2 start, Iowa able to get wins in all 3 rivalry games in 2020
After Iowa started 0-2, some people thought it was going to be a long year for the Hawkeyes as they had a lot of tough rivalry games coming up.
The tough games ended up not being a roadblock at all as they won all three of their rivalry games, including the one tonight against the Wisconsin Badgers.
They won that game convincingly 28-7 and also beat Nebraska 26-20 and Minnesota 35-7. Combined in those games, the Hawkeyes defense only gave up 34 points while also scoring 26 or more points each time.
It prompted the Hawkeyes Twitter account for football to put a tweet out acknowledging that they have all of the rivalry trophies collected for this season:

In the game against Wisconsin today, quarterback Spencer Petras had another great game as he threw for over 200 yards and had two touchdown passes.
Running back Tyler Goodson also had a good day on the ground as he had 11 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown.
We’ll have to see if this win puts Iowa into a New Year’s 6 bowl as they’ll surely move up in the rankings this coming week.
