Bad idea: Iowa WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette injures himself, leaves game after celebratory backflip into the end zone
Iowa extended their lead to 21-7 over Wisconsin thanks to a touchdown from receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette but it came at a cost.
Smith-Marsette injured himself during the play when he did a celebratory flip into the endzone:

He had to go back to the locker room after and his status for the rest of the game is uncertain.
Here’s another angle of the play:

Before this touchdown, he hauled it another one when the Hawkeyes got their first touchdown of the game. That ended up making the score 14-0 before Wisconsin would answer back with their first points of the game.
Overall, Smith-Marsette has seven receptions for 140 yards in the game, along with the two touchdowns.
Smith-Marsette did return to the sideline but was wearing a walking boot. That’s not a good sign for one of the most dynamic receivers in the B1G.
The game is currently in the fourth quarter as Iowa tries to close out this win. If they get the win, they’d finish the season 6-2 while the Badgers would drop to 2-3.
