Kenny Bell dealt Iowa a crushing blow two years ago when his game-winning touchdown sank the Hawkeyes in overtime.

On Saturday, the former Nebraska star delivered another blow to Hawkeye fans.

Following Iowa’s last-second loss to FCS North Dakota State, he took a gander at the box score. Bell couldn’t help but notice the rushing disparity.

In Iowa’s defense, NDSU certainly didn’t look like an FCS team all afternoon. The Hawkeyes were out-rushed 239-34. Iowa’s regular-season winning streak came to an end thanks in large part to that stat.

The Bison, winners of five straight FCS national titles, certainly earned some respect across the country.

But Bell’s comments came off as more of a slight to Iowa than anything else.
