Ben Kueter is a key Iowa signee for the class of 2023 and a hometown prospect out of Iowa City.

Kueter is a linebacker and one of the top in-state prospects for the cycle with the Hawkeyes. As a part of each player’s signing, Iowa is releasing a graphic of interesting facts for each player.

One question included is “Favorite athlete?” Kueter was not shy about his selection, admitting he is his own favorite athlete.

While some might mock the selection, it’s that kind of attitude that could pay off as a linebacker in the B1G. We’ll see how Kueter looks when he suits up for the Hawkeyes.

Coming out of high school, Kueter is a 3-star prospect and the No. 6 player out of Iowa per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
