Bodey McCaslin, a 3-star offensive lineman out of St. Charles, Illinois, has announced a commitment to play in the B1G.

McCaslin, who is listed at 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, committed to Iowa. McCaslin is ranked the No. 45 offensive tackle in the Class of 2024, and the No. 13 player in the state of Illinois, according to the 247Sports Composite. Iowa beat out the likes of Kansas, Kansas State, and Minnesota for McCaslin, who has a reported 15 offers. George Barnett recruited McCaslin for the Hawkeyes.

Iowa has its 10th commit in the 2024 class, as McCaslin is headed to Iowa City as the third offensive lineman in this recruiting cycle. He’s the 5th-rated recruit in the class.

He is the first offensive tackle in the class but joins inside offensive linemen Cody Fox and Josh Janowski.

The Hawkeyes’ 2024 class is ranked No. 15 in the country.
