Caitlin Clark and the Iowa women’s basketball program hit the hardwood Sunday afternoon. However, the location of that court was a bit unique.

In a special exhibition event, the Hawkeyes played DePaul in the “Crossover at Kinnick” with the court placed near one of the endzones inside Kinnick Stadium. Over 50,000 fans attended the event, and Clark showed out.

When it was all said and done, Clark recorded a triple-double with 34 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists on 13-for-26 shooting. She also had 3 steals. In case you were curious, that’s the first-ever triple-double inside Kinnick Stadium.

The event was special with the Hawkeyes winning and having plenty of fun in the exhibition event. Clark shined, draining a pull-up 3-pointer despite the wind of playing outdoors. She also delivered here traditionally nifty handles in a complete performance.

With the Crossover at Kinnick completed, Iowa will suit up again next Sunday for an exhibition against Clarke University. The season opener is set for Monday, Nov. 6 against FDU.
