Caitlin Clark is continuing to add to her fast-growing list of accolades.

The Iowa guard is nominated for 2 ESPY awards at this year’s show: best college athlete (women’s sports) and best breakthrough athlete.

The full list of nominations was announced on Wednesday morning.

In best college athlete, Clark is competing against former Oklahoma pitcher Jordy Bahl, Northwestern lacrosse star Izzy Scane and Florida gymnast Trinity Thomas.

For best breakthrough athlete, Clark is nominated alongside LSU forward Angel Reese, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez.

Clark is coming off of a memorable season for Iowa. She led the Hawkeyes all the way to the National Championship Game while setting multiple NCAA Tournament records.

In the regular season, Clark averaged 27.8 points, 8.6 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game. She was named National Player of the Year for her performance.

Clark is set to return to Iowa for her senior season in 2023-24.

The 2023 ESPY’s will be held on Wednesday, July 12.
