Caitlin Clark posts triple-double, No. 10 Iowa shocks No. 2 Ohio State
Caitlin Clark is just playing a different game, it seems.
The star Iowa guard did it again on the biggest stage, propelling the Hawkeyes to a 83-72 win over No. 2 Ohio State Monday night. She recorded yet another triple-double in the win, scoring 28 points with 10 rebounds and 15 assists. That gives her 8 triple-doubles across her career, the most by any DI player, women or men, ever.
In case that isn’t enough to show how absurd Clark played against Ohio State, her 28/10/15 performance was the first triple double in DI against an AP Top-2 opponent since Dwayne Wade did it against No. 1 Kentucky in 2000 in the NCAA Tournament.
Seems good!
DOWN GO THE BUCKEYES‼️

Caitlin Clark joined The Flash in elite company tonight.
Clark and Dwyane Wade (2003) are the only women’s or men’s Division I players with a triple-double vs an AP Top-2 opponent since 1999-2000. Wade did it vs No. 1 Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. pic.twitter.com/x9dDpU5g3E

Best of luck for anyone facing off against Caitlin Clark at this point. They’ll need it.
