Caitlin Clark is on another stretch of dominance for Iowa, recording a brilliant triple-double in a road win over No. 2 Ohio State Monday evening.

In that performance, Clark produced 28 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists while shooting 8-of-19 from the field and 9-for-10 from the free-throw line. That improved Clark’s career mark of games with 25+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists to 33.

Clark already held the record for most such games in a career and widened her stretch over the second-place record holder, former Oregon star Sabrina Ionescu. The gulf between Clark and Ionescu is so wide, social media reacted to the idea that both stars are in “elite company” via a graphic from ESPN.

For what it’s worth, reacting to Clark’s dominance in this particular stat should in no way be seen as a criticism of Ionescu. Both are and were dynamite performers in their own right, but Clark’s hold on this particular record is only going to grow in the days ahead.
