Class of 2020 DL prospect commits to Iowa despite offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame
Friday afternoon marked a good afternoon for Iowa football.

Deontae Craig, according to 247Sports, is a 3-star weak-side defensive end prospect from Culver, Ind. Craig, despite the 3-star rating, held offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Tennessee, Notre Dame and others.
The Hawkeyes beat out all of those schools.

Craig is the No. 22 weak-side defensive end in the Class of 2020 and is now the 23rd member of Iowa’s class. Iowa’s entire 2020 class can be seen here.
Iowa’s class ranks No. 22 nationally and No. 4 in the Big Ten. Craig is actually the sixth different defensive end to commit to Iowa in 2020.
