Connor McCaffery had a challenge for Iowa fans after the fan attendance at the Omaha game recently. He took to social media to talk about what he wants to see out of the Hawkeye faithful.

Iowa hoops recently had a solid 83-67 win over Seton Hall on the road on Nov. 16. The Hawkeyes then faced Omaha at home and blew out the Mavericks 100-64.

McCaffery wants to see more fans at the games from now on.

“Hawk Fans that came tonight thank you this is not @ u and this is not a complaint at all but this was probably the worst regular season crowd we have had in my career here coming off a huge road win. We have some big games coming up please help us out w the energy you bring.”

We’ll see if this motivates Iowa fans to go to more basketball games. Iowa faces Clemson this Friday at 7 p.m. ET on CBSSN.
