Erick All is Iowa’s leading receiver and has developed into a go-to target at the tight end position. Unfortunately, he was injured early against Wisconsin, and the hit looked particularly ugly.

Facing Wisconsin, All secured a catch over the middle of the field from quarterback Deacon Hill. After the catch, he was hit hard and his right knee bent at an awkward angle after sustaining much of the blow.

All stayed down on the field and was eventually helped off the field. He went to the medical tent to be evaluated and was later seen being carted off the field and back to the locker room.

Iowa enters Saturday’s game 5-1 overall, but injuries have taken a major toll on the Hawkeyes. The team was already without starting quarterback Cade McNamara and the team’s top TE in Luke Lachey.

Now, Deacon Hill will try to get the unit to regroup, but he will need some help from Iowa’s playmakers. Most notably, the pressure is further put on Iowa’s group of wide receivers to step up and make some plays against Wisconsin.
