Erick All shrugs off multiple tackles, scores for Deacon Hill's first career TD
Erick All is looking to step up for Iowa in the middle of some injuries for the offense. He delivered a key first-half performance for the Hawkeyes, including a huge effort on one touchdown.
Deep in the red zone, Deacon Hill found All on a short screen play. The blocking was actually sub-optimal with a number of defenders closing in on All.
The tight end was able to make multiple players miss and then shrugged off some other attempted tacklers as he fought into the end zone for a go-ahead touchdown. The score made it 10-6, Iowa, and goes down as Hill’s first career touchdown.

At the break, All leads the Hawkeyes with 3 catches for 62 yards and the touchdown. He has been Hill’s favorite target and will need to come up with some big plays in the second half.
Iowa will lean on Hill the rest of the way after an unfortunate injury to starter Cade McNamara. The starting QB went down with another non-contact injury and is unlikely to return in Week 5.
