With just two weeks left of Big Ten football, it’s time to look at ESPN’S FPI and what they’re predicting for some games, this time being the two that Iowa has left.

Next Saturday, the Hawkeyes go to Illinois to try and get their fifth win in a row before they have a showdown with No. 16 Wisconsin for their final game of the season.

According to the FPI, Iowa has an 83.3 percent chance of beating Illinois on Saturday. It makes sense due to Iowa having won four games in a row and Illinois only being at 2-3.

After that game, Iowa has just a 23.9 percent chance of beating No. 16 Wisconsin the following week. That one is more interesting considering that the game will be at Iowa and they’ll likely be ranked.

Even without fans in the stands, it is no easy task to take down Iowa inside Kinnick Stadium. Especially with how well the defense is playing for Kirk Ferentz.

If the Hawkeyes are able to win those last two games and Northwestern would lose out, they’d clinch the Big Ten West title and play in the Big Ten Championship game. It’s not likely to happen, but it is 2020 after all.
