Iowa is not going away quietly in the second half, mounting some positive offensive possessions against Kentucky in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl.
The first half was particularly forgettable with 2 turnovers and 3 points scored vs. the Wildcats. The second half started with some positive yardage but another turnover, this time coming in a turnover on downs after a botched QB sneak.
Fortunately, the Hawkeyes have found the end zone and cut into the lead of the Wildcats. The first touchdown for Iowa came with 3 minutes left in the third quarter on an end-around handoff to Arland Bruce IV.
Bruce had a clear lane to the end zone and flashed his speed in getting by the Kentucky defense and into the end zone.
