Smith-Marsett was a standout in college at Iowa and was drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Vikings. His first season in the NFL was strong given his opportunities. He caught just 5 passes for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 targets.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver played four strong years at Iowa, totaling 110 receptions for 1,615 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 4 touchdowns and 274 yards.
This is a strong pickup for Chicago.
