George Kittle is off to a remarkable NFL career since his time at Iowa.
The former tight end for the Hawkeyes was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2017 NFL Draft. Since then, he has developed into one of the most dangerous NFL weapons at his position.
After posting 515 receiving yards as a rookie, Kittle burst onto the scene with a dynamic sophomore campaign. He had 88 catches for 1,377 yards and 5 TDs in 2018. Now, he’s become the third-fastest tight end in NFL history to hit 2,000 career receiving yards.
He passed the mark in Week 2 of the NFL season:

After carving out a big role with the 49ers, the sky truly is the limit for this former Iowa star. Hopefully, he is able to stay healthy and put up a truly historic NFL career.
