FOX runs incredible feature on Iowa Wave tradition
There are tons of traditions across the country in the college football landscape.
There may not be a better tradition in college football than the Iowa Wave, potentially in all sports.
For those unfamiliar with this unique tradition, the Iowa Children’s hospital overlooks Kinnick Stadium. At the end of 1st quarter of every home game, everyone in the stadium, fans, players and coaches, stop and wave to the kids in the press box cafe.
FOX’s premiere pregame show Big Noon Kickoff ran a touching feature on the best tradition in sports.

The Iowa Wave is a new tradition, and it started back in September of 2017 in a game against Wyoming.
FOX, during today’s broadcast, will be showing the Iowa Wave during today’s game.
The Hawkeyes has a huge game today against the Nittany Lions but at the end of the 1st quarter everyone will come together for a extremely touching tribute and tradition.
No. 3 Iowa takes on No. 4 Penn State in Iowa City, IA., at 4:00 ET on FOX.
