FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff is reportedly heading to Iowa City for a big-time B1G showdown on Oct. 9.

The national show is considering being on hand for the Penn State-Iowa contest, according to The Athletic’s Scott Dochterman:

Iowa is off to a 3-0 start to extend its overall winning streak to nine. The Hawkeyes have defeated Indiana, Iowa State, and Kent State. Prior to the game against Penn State, Iowa has matchups vs. Colorado State and Maryland.

Penn State also has a 3-0 record, with victories vs. Wisconsin, Ball State, and Auburn. Penn State has games against Villanova and Indiana before heading to Iowa.

Considering how both teams have looked, it is not a stretch to anticipate both teams being undefeated on Oct. 9. Both teams are currently in the top 10 on the AP Poll, and there is an outside chance this game could turn into a top-5 battle.

Penn State leads the all-time series 17-13 vs. Iowa. Iowa won the most recent meeting 41-21 at Penn State in 2020. The Nittany Lions have won the last three times they’ve played at Iowa.
