Fran McCaffery talked about Keegan and Kris Murray at B1G Basketball Media Days. He wants to the confusion between the two to stop now that Keegan has moved on per Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register.

McCaffery stated that he understands how the brothers can be mistaken for one another. He’s seen it first hand. McCaffery did predict that Keegan will win Rookie of the Year for the Sacramento Kings, however.

“I get it,” said McCaffery. “I’ve seen people ask Kris for his autograph and say ‘Keegan, can I have your autograph?’ The questions are inevitable but at some point it’s gotta be okay enough.  Kris is here, and Keegan’s gonna win Rookie of the Year for the Kings and we’re thrilled for him.”

There is one way to tell Kris and Keegan apart. Keegan is usually the quieter of the two, unless he’s around Kris and giving him a hard time.

“What’s really funny is how they are together,” said McCaffery. “Keegan doesn’t say five words in a week, unless he’s giving his brother a hard time. It never ends, just constantly on each other’s case. You would think they don’t like each other, but they don’t go anywhere without each other.”

Looks like sibling rivalries will never change.
