George Kittle delivers incredible leaping TD grab against Packers
George Kittle is one of the most talented tight ends in the NFL. The Iowa product has made 5 Pro Bowls and has been a First-team All-Pro twice in his career.
Kittle’s San Francisco 49ers are going through a rough patch, so the star TE is doing his best to turn things around. In a 17-0 deficit near the end of the 2nd quarter, the 49ers drove down the field and desperately needed a score.
On 3rd-and-goal, Brandon Allen saw Kittle in the back of the end zone and threw the ball toward his star player. Kittle leaped and came down with the catch for a 3-yard score in a big spot vs. the Green Bay Packers.
The score was Kittle’s 8th TD of the season which is already the 2nd-highest total of his career.

The score made it a 17-7 game and gave the Niners some life. The score remained 17-7 at halftime as Kittle had 4 catches for 30 yards and 1 TD at the break.
Heading into Sunday, Kittle had 43 catches for 560 yards and 7 TDs. The TE was 1st on the team in catches and TDs and 2nd in receiving yards to only Jauan Jennings.
Even with Kittle having another solid season, the Niners have struggled to a 5-5 record. Christian McCaffery, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and Brock Purdy have all missed time with injuries, which explains much of the team’s struggles.
Kittle starred for Iowa from 2012-2016. The star TE caught 48 passes for 737 yards with 10 TDs over 25 games with the Hawkeyes.
