It didn’t take George Kittle long to re-find his groove!
The former Iowa Hawkeye and star for the San Francisco 49ers has been out since the first game of the NFL season. The impact tight end suffered a knee sprain in the season opener that sidelined him for the past two games, but Kittle was back in the starting lineup for Sunday Night Football.

Midway through the second quarter, Kittle already has four catches on four targets, proving once again to be a handful for defenders. Not only has Kittle caught the ball well, but he also drew a facemask penalty on this play.
In typical Kittle fashion, he fought through the first contact and kept fighting for yards. It eventually took multiple Philadelphia defenders, including one grabbing Kittle’s facemask, to bring him down after a solid gain.

Hopefully his knee doesn’t give him any more problems, but Kittle certainly looks hungry and healthy early on.
