The San Francisco 49ers are looking to get to another Super Bowl, and George Kittle is doing his part! After taking a 10-7 lead over the Los Angeles Rams to halftime, the 49ers looked Kittle’s way to build the lead late in the third quarter.

Kittle was able to split the Rams defense down the seam and was left uncovered. Jimmy Garoppolo found him in the soft spot with Kittle able to reel it in through contact in the end zone. It made it 17-7, San Francisco with the game heading toward the fourth quarter.

It was just Kittle’s 2nd catch of the game as the two sides have been locked in a steady defensive effort for much of the contest. The game is now in the fourth quarter and it will be interesting to see if Kittle’s touchdown holds up as the difference-maker. The winner of the NFC Championship will advance to the Super Bowl to face the Cincinnati Bengals.
