George Kittle is arguably the best tight end in football and he showed why he should win that argument in a lot of ways on Sunday.
During the 49ers 41-33 win over the Lions, one of the moves he put on a defender was a nasty stiff arm as the play went for a big gain.

He also showed how great of a blocker he is as he absolutely pancaked a Lions defensive lineman on a running play.

Receiving-wise, Kittle finished the game with 4 receptions for 78 yards.
Before getting hurt last season, Kittle was on pace to have another 1,000-yard season, just like he did the previous 2. Kittle was limited to just 8 games (it was 6 before he miraculously came back for the final 2 games of the regular season) and finished with 634 yards receiving with 2 touchdowns.
He brings an extra element that San Francisco was severely lacking last season. The 49ers will be back in action next Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. ET.
