Here's what Iowa's Kirk Ferentz said ahead of Saturday's showdown against Wisconsin
Iowa is likely going to be fired up going to Madison this Saturday to take on Wisconsin.
For starters, the Hawkeyes got embarrassed by the Boilermakers 2 weeks ago in Iowa City when they only scored 7 points in a 24-7 loss. They also know the stakes of this game and what it means for the rest of the season.
If the Hawkeyes win this one, they get to 7-1 on the season as the schedule really lightens up the rest of the way. There are no ranked teams left which means that if the team takes care of business, they’ll be in Indianapolis for the B1G Championship Game in December.
Here’s what head coach Kirk Ferentz said during his Tuesday presser in advance of the game against Wisconsin.
🗣 KF: "We are encouraged by both Arland and Keagan. We are playing five guys (at receiver) so we will continue to rotate them." #Hawkeyes
