Iowa adds 2022 commitment from cornerback prospect out of Michigan

Ahead of Wednesday’s National Signing Day, Iowa added a cornerback pledge to its 2022 recruiting class. Deshaun Lee, out of Belleville, Michigan, announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes on Sunday.

Listed at 5-11, 173 pounds, Lee is rated 3-stars, the No. 15 recruit in Michigan, No. 55 cornerback and No. 591 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Lee also had scholarship offers from Kentucky, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
Iowa’s 2022 class has 4 players already enrolled for the spring semester. Thirteen others inked with the Hawkeyes in December’s Early Signing Period.
