Iowa has completed its nonconference schedule for the 2025 season. The athletic department made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hawkeyes have added Florida Atlantic and Massachusetts to the 2025 nonconference schedule. Iowa will open that year against FAU on Saturday, Aug. 30 and will play UMass near the end of the season, with the game set for Saturday, Nov. 15.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Hawkeyes will play Iowa State, which gives the team three nonconference games on the schedule for the season. Games against FAU and UMass will be played at Kinnick Stadium while the Hawkeyes will travel to Ames to play the Cyclones.
Iowa has not played either FAU or UMass in football, making 2025 the first matchup between the teams in both contests.
The Hawkeyes are currently 1-2 during the 2020 season.
