Iowa is adding to its 2023 recruiting class and landed another impressive offensive lineman Sunday evening.

This time, the commitment came from Trevor Lauck, a 6-foot-6 and 285 lb. offensive tackle out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Lauck had drawn Power 5 interest from across the country and held B1G offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, Purdue and Rutgers.

“I want to thank each coach that has recruited me and built a relationship with me throughout the process,” wrote Lauck in his statement. “With that being said, I am committed to the Univerity of Iowa!”

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Lauck is a 4-star prospect and No. 33 OT nationally while cracking the top 400 overall prospects in the country. Lauck is also the No. 5 player out of Indiana for the cycle.

Lauck brings Iowa’s 2023 recruiting class up to 13 verbal commitments with that group coming in at 17th nationally on the team rankings. Lauck is currently the highest-rated offensive lineman committed to the Hawkeyes for the cycle.
