Iowa’s Tory Taylor has put in work this season.

The Hawkeyes offense has had trouble moving the ball, to put it lightly. In just 2 games, the Iowa offense has necessitated 16 total punts on the year. At the same time, that offense has scored exactly 2 touchdowns.

Amazingly, the Hawkeyes are 1-1 despite those numbers. Iowa still needs to flip that number desperately.

There’s even a graphic dedicated to Taylor. He’s probably contributed more than you’d think to Iowa’s single win against South Dakota State.

Iowa’s game against Rutgers on Sept. 24 might be the punting party of the season. Rutgers’ Adam Korsak, alongside Taylor, is considered to be one of the best punters in the nation on a squad that gives him plenty of opportunity.
