The Hawkeyes are 2-0 in B1G play with blowout wins; they have beaten Indiana 34-6 and Maryland 51-14.
Their last game against the B1G East is a huge one against No. 4 Penn State this Saturday. That game is on at 4:00 ET on FOX and between a battle of unbeatens.
FOX’s premier pregame show Big Noon Kickoff will be in Iowa City for the game on Saturday.
Iowa has not had to play any team from the West division yet, but they look like the best team in that division and maybe the best team in the B1G.
The Hawkeye defense might be the reason why they have been some dominant The defense has been one of the best in the country; they have an incredible streak of holding opponents to 24 points or fewer for 27 games in a row.
That task will be more challenging this week when No. 4 Penn State brings their offense to town.
The sellout game against Purdue will be at 3:30 ET on ABC.
