The regular season is over, and everything is still in front of Iowa.

You know, besides the 12 wins that are behind the Hawkeyes.

They ended the regular season as one of two unbeatens, and took the No. 4 spot in the last Associated Press poll of the regular season. Iowa actually fell a spot after Oklahoma blew out Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Saturday night.

Iowa capped its first 12-0 regular season in school history with a 28-20 win in Lincoln on Friday.

The Hawkeyes had already locked up the B1G West the week before against Purdue. With Michigan State’s win against Penn State, the Spartans moved up to No. 5 heading into Saturday’s B1G Championship.

Following Michigan State was Ohio State, which moved up to No. 6 after dominating Michigan 42-13 on Saturday. As a result, the Wolverines fell to No. 19 and were passed by Northwestern, which climbed to No. 13 following a win against Illinois at Soldier Field. Wisconsin rounded out the six B1G teams in the AP poll.

Iowa will have a chance to lock up its first spot in the College Football Playoff if it can take care of Michigan State on Saturday. It’ll be the Hawkeyes first matchup against a top-10 team this season.
