On Thursday night, Iowa basketball played Iowa State. It’s an in-state rivalry game, which is nice this time of year. After all, Big Ten conference action gets going more so in January, so to have an exciting game in mid-December is refreshing.
Iowa ended up winning the game 84-68. But with 3:04 remaining in the second half, Hawkeye big man Luka Garza had his tooth jarred loose. He eventually returned to the game.
But while he was down on the court with a trainer, Iowa guard Jordan Bohannon came over and helped out by picking up Garza’s tooth and handing it to the trainer:

This isn’t exactly sanitary, but, Bohannon wanted to help out.
