Per 247Sports, Mota is the No. 4 player out of the state and ranks as one of the Top 500 overall prospects for the 2023 class. Among athletes, Mota ranks No. 35.
It’s still early in the recruiting process, but with Mota’s commitment, Iowa ranks No. 5 in the B1G and No. 16 nationally with the 2023 class. The Hawkeyes have landed some important commitments early in the cycle.
