Tyler Linderbaum is considered one of the best centers in the country — and it’s why his NFL Draft stock is rising.

The Iowa center was picked as Pro Football Focus’ No. 9 draft prospect in its top 100 list Friday afternoon. He’s one of two B1G players in the top 10 behind Michigan linebacker Aidan Hutchinson, who was picked as the No. 5 prospect on the same list.

Last year, Linderbaum was voted as PFF’s top center, but is a close second this season. He was a first team All-B1G selection and a PFF first team All-American as a sophomore in 2020. The junior would be a good pickup for an NFL team needing center help, and his blocking ability is impressive.

He’s sure to get plenty more NFL looks given Iowa’s success this season. The Hawkeyes are No. 5 in the AP Top 25 and have already sparked conversation about a CFP appearance. They have one final non-conference tuneup coming up against Colorado State in Week 4.
