An Iowa defensive back has made the decision to transfer out of the program.

Friday afternoon, Trey Creamer, a member of the Hawkeyes’ 2017 recruiting class, announced that he’ll be leaving the program after two years in Iowa City. Creamer posted a note on Twitter explaining his decision.

Creamer did not see the field during his two seasons at Iowa.

Creamer is a former 3-star defensive back and had offers from multiple B1G schools. In addition to Iowa, the Georgia native received offers from Minnesota, Rutgers, Maryland, Michigan State and Purdue.

There was no destination listed in Creamer’s announcement.
