Iowa DL signee sacks Penn State QB pledge during All-America Bowl
It appears that Iowa’s tradition of fielding outstanding defensive lineman will continue. On Saturday, defensive line pledge Aaron Graves flashed some of his potential in Saturday’s All-America Bowl.
Graves, a 4-star member of the 2022 recruiting class and a Top 100 prospect per 247Sports, picked up a sack on Penn State quarterback commit Drew Allar on the first possession of the game. The stop forced a fourth down in the game.

Graves is a 6-foot-6, 260-pound defensive lineman is an Iowa native and is ranked as the No. 2 prospect from the state. He’s also listed as the No. 16 defensive lineman in the class.
Graves appears to be bringing plenty of potential with him to the Hawkeyes. He flashed just some of it Saturday afternoon in the All-America Bowl.
