Iowa and Michigan are dueling it out in Iowa City with both sides delivering some big blows in the first half. The final punch of the half came from the Hawkeyes with Keegan Murray landing a buzzer-beater heading into the break.

A huge full-court pass from Connor McCaffery set up Murray’s shot that was clean to give Iowa the 39-37 lead at the break:

At the break, Murray leads all scorers with a game-high 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting to go with 2 rebounds, an assist, and 2 blocks. Filip Rebraca and Jordan Bohannon have also chipped in 7 points apiece.

For Michigan, the play of Moussa Diabate has kept the Wolverines in the game through the first 20 minutes. Diabate leads Michigan with 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting with 4 rebounds.

Kobe Bufkin has also provided a spark off the bench for Michigan with 8 points on 3-for-4 shooting. Unfortunately for the Wolverines, Diabate, Bufkin and Hunter Dickinson all have 2 fouls coming out of the break. We will see if that foul trouble proves to be a problem in the second half.
